What are Online Safety Incidents?
When an issue occurs online that harms or causes a risk of harm to a person or group of people as a result this is referred to as an online safety incident. Action will need to be taken to resolve the underlying problem and prevent further harm. Examples of some online safety incidents are online reputation issues, grooming, cyberbullying, and sexting.
