  4. Supporting Safeguarding Network Members

For Safeguarding Network members, we are giving the opportunity to explore and implement our Whisper anonymous reporting tool, for free (from the 1st May 2025 - until 31st July 2026). If you have used our exclusive code and have signed up for a Safeguarding Network membership, you can now implement Whisper into your community to ensure a safe and effective response to safeguarding incidents. Please note, this offer does not apply to current Whisper subscribers.

Whisper features two-way communication through chat functions and SMS. It can be used by young people, staff, parents, and carers to highlight concerns to a trusted member of staff (usually a Designated Safeguarding Lead). Those who manage Whisper can receive and respond to reports and gain better insight into the issues affecting their community.

To support with understanding of Whisper, we have worked with Safeguarding Network to produce resources and guidance.

Continuing With Whisper After July 2026

After the 31st July 2026, Safeguarding Network members, with free use of Whisper, will be given the option to continue with the tool through a paid-for subscription.

Subscriptions are available for Primary School, Secondary School, Multi-Academy Trust, and alternative settings. We also provide an option to use Whisper through a ProjectEVOLVE Safeguarding subscription to further enhance protection.

To support your understanding of moving from a free Whisper package to a paid version, our customer service team is here to help. Please contact enquiries@swgfl.org.uk.

As a Safeguarding Network member, we hope Whisper can support your community and enhance your safeguarding practice.
