Online Safety Events Throughout The UK
24th Febrauary 2021 4:30 - 5:30pm
This webinar will look at current online trends and will also provide a Q & A session. This event will be hosted by Andrew Williams, Online Safety and Information Security Consultant for SWGfL and Ed Oleszko, Online Safety Consultant with SWGfL and former Cardiff-based teacher.
25th February 2021 3:30 – 4:30pm
This panel discussion talks about the theme of misinformation and fake news, following on from the theme of Safer Internet Day. TikTok join to discuss how they look to improve user safety and how they tackle fake news along with a panel of experts including Karl Hopwood, Dr Al Baker and Jess McBeath.
Online Safety Live looks to bring the latest updates and news about occurring online safety issues including the latest trends, updates in policy, research, resources and legislation. These sessions are aimed at those who work with children and young people on a professional level.
