SWGfL are delighted to say that tickets are now available for our 2022 Online Safety Day event which is annually supported by Meta. This year, the event will take place on Wednesday 16th November from 1pm -3pm
Recognising our changing work environment, the event will be a hybrid event with options to join online as well as in-person at Meta offices in Euston. This is our third annual event with Meta and looks to explore what the future may hold for online safety and safeguarding. With ongoing news surrounding the immersive technology and the future of the internet, this event will give professionals an introduction to the Metaverse.
The event will also cover exciting new developments from SWGfL, including the new reporting platform, Minerva as well as updates from our helplines around reporting harmful content and professional online safety advice. Our expert panel of speakers will discuss the latest research around online safety as well as what tools and services can support you for the school year.
If you want to find out more about our previous events we've held with Meta, you can take a look at the past two Online Safety Days and see what was discussed from our previous guest speakers. These events bring hundreds of professionals together for an afternoon of informative discussion as well as giving professionals the opportunity to see what they need to know for the school year. Make sure you don't miss out!
