StopNCII.org Wins at the Digital Leaders 100 Awards

We are pleased to announce that StopNCII.org has been named the winner of the Digital Public Service Innovation of the Year award at this year's Digital Leaders 100 Awards!

The Digital Leaders 100 List recognises the efforts of organisations and individuals who are contributing to the UK’s digital transformation. This award highlights the important work that StopNCII.org is doing to address intimate image abuse and protect people online on a global scale.

StopNCII.org: Supporting Individuals Around the World

StopNCII.org protects all adults across the world who are threatened with having their intimate images shared online without consent. StopNCII.org is a free online tool that is available worldwide. For the first time, anyone who is affected by threats to share their intimate images has the means to protect and empower themselves whilst taking control away from perpetrators.

With StopNCII.org, victims can take immediate action to ensure that what was intended to be private, stays private. StopNCII.org is the worldwide change needed to tackle intimate image abuse. For far too long, victims have been left powerless against the actions of perpetrators, often not knowing where to go for support.

Thank You for Your Support

This achievement is a testament to the hard work of everyone involved with StopNCII.org and the ongoing support from the community for embracing this vital innovation in technology.

As we celebrate this recognition and look at how far we’ve come, we remain focused on our goal to continue preventing non-consensual intimate image abuse and offering support to those in need on a global scale.

David Wright, CEO of SWGfL and Director of the UK Safer Internet Centre, said:

“It is an honour to receive this recognition, which reflects the dedication and determination of everyone involved with StopNCII.org to prevent non-consensual intimate image abuse. While we take a moment to celebrate this achievement, we must remember that there is still much more to be done to prevent non-consensual intimate image abuse around the globe. Our focus remains on ensuring that individuals are protected from the harm of intimate image abuse and can feel safe online, and we encourage more industry platforms to join this initiative and further the reach of this powerful tool."
