We are proud to announce that the Revenge Porn Helpline (RPH) has been awarded Helpline of the Year at the 2025 Helpline Partnership Awards. This honour recognises the exceptional dedication, expertise and compassion our team brings to supporting adults affected by intimate image abuse across the UK.
Winning this award is a tremendous acknowledgement of the work our staff and wider support network undertake every day to help people regain their safety, privacy and control. It also reflects the growing global understanding of intimate image abuse as a serious form of harm.
Recognising Excellence in Victim Support
The “Helpline of the Year” award is designed to celebrate helplines delivering truly exceptional service towards those are in need of support. Over the past year, the Revenge Porn Helpline has continued to set the benchmark for best practice, supporting thousands of individuals experiencing some of the most distressing and personal forms of online abuse.
The Helpline continues to excel in helping adults remove non-consensual intimate images from online platforms. With strong relationships across the tech industry and deep expertise in tech focussed solutions, the team consistently achieves high removal rates (90%+), allowing our callers to feel supported and most importantly, protected.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Innovation sits at the heart of the Revenge Porn Helpline’s journey. In recent years, the team has been instrumental in developing tools such as StopNCII.org, which empowers individuals to prevent the spread of intimate imagery online through their own devices.
The Helpline continues to refine its processes, expand its expertise, and adapt to emerging threats, from sexual synthetic content to evolving patterns of coercion and abuse.
Sophie Mortimer (Revenge Porn Helpline Manager) said: ‘’This award is not only a recognition of our team’s hard work but evidence of how much intimate image abuse has impacted the world over the years. It underscores the continued urgent need for accessible, specialist support, and highlights the value of services built on expertise and innovation.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Helplines Partnership for this honour, to our colleagues and partner organisations, and most importantly, to the individuals who trust us to support them during some of their most difficult moments.
The work is far from over - we will continue fighting against intimate image abuse and continue to advocate for stronger protections. Please remember though, if you are experiencing intimate image abuse, you are not alone and our team of dedicated individuals will do everything they can to support you.’’
