NLThis year has been a milestone for SWGfL, as we celebrated 25 years of protecting education communities and supporting those affected by online harm. Throughout 2025, we highlighted the vital work of our services and solutions, including the Revenge Porn Helpline, StopNCII.org, the Assisted Monitoring Service, ProjectEVOLVE, and Whisper Anonymous Reporting.
Equally important, we have strengthened key partnerships to extend the reach of our work and ensure support reaches communities in need. On the education front, we partnered with Secure Schools to enhance cybersecurity approaches, and with Safeguarding Network, an organisation providing comprehensive training, guidance, and support to help school staff prioritise safeguarding against prevalent risks.
Whisper Anonymous Reporting Free Through Safeguarding Network
Our partnership with Safeguarding Network allows SWGfL to offer the Whisper Anonymous Reporting tool free of charge to any establishment that becomes a Safeguarding Network member. This initiative is an essential part of preparing for the year ahead, ensuring that protection against harm is in place throughout 2026.
This offer, available until July 2026, enables more students, staff, parents, and carers to speak confidentially with a trusted adult about their worries and concerns. Whisper already supports thousands across the UK and internationally, and through our partnership with the Safeguarding Network, we can extend this crucial solution to even more communities in need.
