ProjectEVOLVE is a big talking point, and one that we’re always delighted to speak about. Since the toolkit launched, we’ve enjoyed taking part in online events to explain more about the toolkit and how it can go towards assisting professionals with educating young people about their digital lives. We’ve talked at our online safety live events as well as more recently in our Online Safety Day earlier this year, showing professionals just what it can do.
Now, we’ve worked with Headstart Kernow, an organisation in Cornwall that supports children and young people’s wellbeing and digital resilience to bring some free online events throughout November and the beginning of December. If your school is based in Cornwall, you can sign up and get an in depth look at how the toolkit works, understanding how it can support safeguarding as well as seeing first-hand how it connects to the Headstart Kernow digital resilience framework.
With the release of the knowledge map features earlier this year, it is a perfect opportunity to see how they can help your teaching strategies. The event can outline how these can be used to assist with planning, assessment and identifying gaps in your students’ understanding of common online areas. If your school is interested in taking part, just sign up to one of the free events below.
