SWGfL Services – Closing Times 2023

From the team at SWGfL, we would like to wish you all a very happy holiday. Our services have outlined below what opening hours are taking place throughout the Christmas period. Please refer to the timings and advice below if you need support throughout this time.

General SWGfL Mailboxes

The email mailboxes for 360Safe, Online Safety, BOOST, UKSIC Enquiries, Online Safety Training, ProjectEVOLVE, Whisper, AMS, Reputation Alerts and Edtesa will be out of hours between 12:00 pm Friday 22nd December - 8:00 am Tuesday 2nd January.

Professionals Online Safety Helpline

Over the holiday period the helpline will be closed from 12pm on Friday the 22nd December, re-opening at 10am on Tuesday 2rd January. Please note that during this time, the team will not be responding to reports. If you or the person you are helping are at immediate risk of harm please contact the police on 999.

Report Harmful Content

Over the holiday period, Report Harmful Content will be closed from 12pm on Friday the 22nd December, re-opening at 10am on Tuesday 2rd January. Please note that during this time the Report Harmful Content team will not be responding to reports. If you or the person you are helping are at immediate risk of harm, please contact the police on 999. You can also use REIYA, the online chatbot on the Report Harmful Content website for additional support.

Revenge Porn Helpline

The Revenge Porn Helpline will close for the holidays on Friday 22nd December at 12pm and will reopen on Tuesday 2nd January at 10am. As with our other helplines, the Revenge Porn Helpline will not be responding to reports during this time. If you need advice on what to do if your intimate images have been shared without your consent; if you are being threatened with the sharing of intimate images; or if you are a victim of sextortion, you can visit the Revenge Porn Helpline website at revengepornhelpline.org.uk. You can also use REIYA, the online chatbot on the Revenge Porn Helpline website for additional guidance and support.

Throughout this time, you can also use StopNCII.org which is a free global tool to help prevent intimate images from being shared online.

As noted above, our services will be back to support you in early January. Please also note that during the holidays, social media direct messages will not be monitored, however support will once again be available in the new year.
