Online Safety Training

Level One

Our Online Safety Team has an international reputation and recognition in internet safety and delivers a wide range of online safety sessions to organisations that work with children and young people. We are also one of the three charities that make up the UK Safer Internet Centre so we work beyond the South West, across the whole of the UK.

Our sessions are tailored to audiences and topics within Schools, Academies, Colleges, Universities and other settings such as early years establishments, foster & adoption teams, police teams working with children and young people, social workers, and more.

The focus of our general awareness sessions is on:
  • An overview of the risks and benefits of technology.
  • Exploring the technologies young people use and the behaviours associated with them.
  • Understanding of social networking, online communications and gaming.
  • Strategies to reduce risk and increase resilience.
  • Practical resources, online safety curriculum plans and links to additional organisations.
  • Access to award winning self review tools.
